Pixowl releases The Sandbox for Android

Pixowl releases The Sandbox for Android

We briefly talked about it a few weeks ago and now it’s finally arrived.  The Pixel art God game known as The Sandbox has just been unleashed for Android, and if you’re feeling a little godlike today you might want to clear up some free time…

The Sandbox is a game that lets you play god with pixels as you’ll use base elements to make new and interesting things. When we say interesting we mean it as you’ll be able to make simple things like mud and fire alongside more complex creations like electricity and dinosaurs. As you’re God of your own little world you’ll be able to build and create things on a whim in Freeplay mode or you can take on over 70 missions in the campaign. Creativity is the name of the game, and if you’re a creative person you’ll be in hog heaven with The Sandbox.

As cool as The Sandbox is there’s a downside with the IAP setup. It seems like you’ll only get 30 levels for free (along with Freeplay mode) and the rest of the levels have to be purchased through the game. If you buy all the extra campaigns it will set you back around 8 bucks which is pretty expensive considering the iOS version doesn’t charge. I’m hoping this will be addressed soon, if not its shame as The Sandbox is a game a lot of us have been waiting for. You can pick up The Sandbox for free (kind of) on Google Play.
